Closing the gap by providing fully accessible and exciting Coding & STEM programs to indigenous kids.
Early positive experiences with STEM are a powerful influence, leading kids to confidently choose STEM fields in academia & career.
Hands on, engaging and fully subsidised coding & robotics workshops, led by super qualified engineering instructors.
Community figures and role models connect with the students, inspiring them to follow in the footsteps of the First Engineers on this land.
- Get to know each other and their instructors
- Learn the basic coding principles and concepts, through gameplay and hands on interaction
- Start a digital project [with some differentiated activities for students of different levels]
- Speak to mentors and role models from the local community and show them their creations
- Present their work to an audience of their peers
- Complete a digital project to take home, to continue the learning and engagement from home.

Code your own hand-held gaming console! With Junior Engineers‘ MiniTendo camp, you get to design and code your own games and upload them to your own hand held gaming device.
From Space Invaders and Pac Man through to adventure games and RPGs, you will become a junior game developer in no time. Best of all, you get to keep the MiniTendo at the end of the camp which you can show to your friends and family!
Code a real computer chip with cool games and applications! Use real code to transform your Micro:Bit into a compass, a rock-paper-scissors game, and much much more!
Computer chips like Micro:Bits can be found in almost every important piece of technology around us. This exciting workshop shows you how to ‘speak’ the language of computers, and code the chip to play awesome games. Take the Micro:Bit home at the end of the camp to show your family and friends!
